First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for an HSE Manager to join an established international company in the Edinburgh-Falkirk-Glasgow region. Our client is a heavy manufacturer, dedicated to small to large scale industrial manufacturing products worldwide.

5 working daysThis will be a senior role, where you will be expected to operate as part of a cohesive team, as well as autonomously.
Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Oversee and ensure the implementation of safety and environmental controls for all manufacturing, service, repair, office, yard, and grounds operations.
Provide leadership and guidance to local HSE representatives at all UK sites, acting as the primary HSE contact for the UK.
Manage and drive risk assessment and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) programmes.
Administer contractor permit control on site.
Chair local safety committees to promote continuous safety improvement.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of the company's HSE systems.
Assist in setting and achieving site-specific HSE objectives, aligned with corporate-level targets and goals.Essential skills, experience and knowledge:
