Have you sold into the welding and fabrication sector?
My client is a premium manufacturer of high-quality industrial power tools designed specifically for the engineering sector - cutting, drills, saws, grinders. They sell via distributors and direct to end users.
Customers include general engineering and metalworking, fabrication & welding, and assembly environments such as large OEMs.
They are now looking for a technically minded Area Sales Manager who is centrally based below Birmingham to support and further develop their customers.
The Role
1. Working from home. This is a technical solutions sales role.
2. Following up inquiries and leads with end users - understanding applications and recommending appropriate solutions.
3. Covering central patch: Birmingham, Oxford, Cheltenham, S.Wales.
4. Maintaining relationships with existing dealers/distributors and end users.
5. Sales analysis.
6. Work closely with Marketing to ensure the right products are promoted effectively.
7. Identify new distributors and end users.
8. Sell a range of high-quality engineering and metalwork hand power tools including welding equipment.
Requirements
1. You must live on patch - essential.
2. You must have knowledge of the welding & fabrication sector.
3. Someone who has sold welding products would be ideal!
4. Previous field sales experience is essential, including sales engineer, key account manager, dealer manager.
5. You will have solid knowledge of power tools; knowledge of welding equipment is a plus.
