Are you a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking a dynamic and rewarding role? We are looking for a motivated individual to provide commercial expertise and lead the successful delivery of contracted work within the Southern Home Counties business unit.
Salary: £74k to £88k
Responsibilities:
Act as the commercial lead, supporting the delivery of projects within a geographical team.
Provide accurate and timely commercial reports and advice to the management team.
Ensure project compliance with commercial and financial targets.
Manage and mentor a team of quantity surveyors to achieve project success.Key Tasks:
Deliver large-scale DfE and Design & Build (JCT D&B) projects ranging from £10m to £40m.
Oversee two-stage projects and manage end-to-end commercial operations.
Utilize company management systems such as Commercial Manager, COINS, or Sphere.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient cost and quality control.Requirements:
Extensive experience in the main contracting market, ideally working on education (DfE) projects.
Strong knowledge of construction techniques and company management systems.
Proven experience in managing large projects and leading a team of surveyors.
HNC/Degree in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
RICS Membership is highly desirable.What we offer:
