About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Payments Officer to join our Finance Team in Oldham on a part-time 21 hours per week permanent contract basis. The successful candidate would be required to work 3 full days per week which must include Monday; we currently operate a hybrid working style blending office days with working from home. Reporting to the Payments Manager, you will ensure that internal and external queries are resolved promptly. You will support the delivery of key functions such as transaction processing, payment runs, and managing payable ledgers. What we’re looking for We’re a customer-focused organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You will not only be experienced in accounts payables, but you will also have great attention to detail and accurately maintain financial information. You’ll also be able to demonstrate: Proven customer service experience. A commitment to teamwork and the ability to adapt to change and be flexible. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good time management and organisational skills. Good oral and written communication. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel as this tool is used frequently in this role. Essential Qualifications: Level 2 (GCSE C or equivalent) Maths and English.
