JOB TITLE: Housing Officer
LOCATION: Croydon, full time on site
PAY RATE: £21.47 PAYE / £28.17 umbrella per hour
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION/Hours: 3-month initial contract/ 36 hours a week

Role Purpose: As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional housing management services within a defined geographical area. You will be the accountable face of Croydon, working to improve resident satisfaction and trust.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality customer-focused housing management services.
Identify and implement environmental improvements to estates.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective and sustainable regeneration initiatives.
Work with residents to deliver initiatives that improve services and outcomes.
Manage anti-social behaviour cases in collaboration with the Anti-Social Behaviour Enforcement team.
Liaise with external agencies, including the Police, health services, and other local authorities, on tenancy matters.
Prepare reports and responses to enquiries from various stakeholders.
Use information technology to enhance the efficiency of estate management services.
Deputise for the Team Manager as required.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
Strong customer service skills with the ability to deliver high-quality services.
Effective management of anti-social behaviour cases.
Ability to coordinate services to meet diverse customer needs.
Knowledge of housing and anti-social behaviour legislation.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and housing-related databases.
Essential Experience:
Tenancy Management Experience
Experience in providing customer-focused housing management services within a social housing organisation.
Experience in working collaboratively with other teams and partners to achieve high performance.
