Electroverse is a multifunctional team made up of product, development, commercial, operations, marketing, partnerships and more - all focused together on making Octopus the go-to name in EV charging. And we’re looking for smart individuals with an interest in the space who can help us make it happen.
As Electroverse enters its next stage of expansion, we are looking for an Information Security Analyst who can support us in navigating the fast-paced security landscape we operate in. You’ll be supporting our business and ensuring that we remain fully-operational and compliant with infosec legislation and processes while working with various teams to expand our capabilities and develop creative solutions to business challenges and opportunities to improve our service to both new and existing customers.
What you'll do...
* The passion to create something amazing, and the mindset to learn and grow with the company.
* An understanding of how RESTful APIs work, familiarity with lower level concepts of HTTP and JSON data types.
* Ability to understand and master a technical specification for HTTP based integrations.
* Analytical skills to read integration related data graphs and dashboards and pick out any potential issues.
* Ability to explain technical problems clearly and comprehensively and communicate any issues to all stakeholders.
* Inter-personal skills to assist external clients and resolve any issues with a positive attitude.
* Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of integration support.
What you'll need...
* A passion for Information Security and Data Privacy and an ability to explain these concepts in a clear and meaningful way to those who may not be familiar with them.
* Experience in at least some of the areas mentioned above (we’re not expecting any candidate to be an expert in all of these!).
* Previous experience working in certified organisations where you’ve performed security risk assessments.
* Good understanding and practical experience of the principles/issues involved in Information Security & Technology Risk Management.
* Understanding of the principles/issues involved in Data Privacy.
* Structured, pragmatic approach with an appreciation of how business needs and security requirements can work together.

We would prefer someone who can work in our London office 1/2 times a week and you will also need to have full working rights for the UK as we are unable to sponsor.
