In this pivotal role, you will drive Workforce Planning across the entire Tesco Group, collaborating closely with business leaders and directors to prepare our organization for the future. Your leadership will be key in crafting and developing workforce insights, and redefining requirements into actionable, impactful plans. Partner the business to understand the strategically and/or operationally critical workforce segments (roles & skills) over a 3-5 year horizon Identify the key workforce disruptors and challenges, and the implications they have on the future of work in Tesco Build an external view of how Tesco benchmarks against markets, industries and competitors Lead the collaborative development of workforce strategies, preparing the organisation with the right; build, buy, borrow and re-skilling strategy Assist in the creation of Strategic Workforce Plan framework including the design, build and implementation of tools and process to enable workforce analysis and planning. Utilise data internally and externally to develop workforce insights and strategies to prepare the organisation workforce of the future. Unlock performance by continuously validating and measuring workforce assumptions applied to future supply & demand scenarios Support the development of the Organisation Of The Future, identifying investment & divestment opportunities, aligned to the business strategy Develop best practice and build internal capability across Group communities of practice Analytical approach / questioning including use of data analysis and interpretation Strategic longer term thinking / bringing the outside in providing thought leadership and developing strategic proposals Can story tell with comprehensive data and insights–(the so what) Comfortable working with senior leaders and undertaking extensive stakeholder engagement Self driven and able to work with ambiguity, with the ability to learn Tesco group at pace applying a broad approach.
