Business Development Executive (12 month contract)

Salary range: £30,000-34,000 a year depending on experience
Role Overview
Vario is a market leading alternative legal services provider within the law firm, Pinsent Masons. It is unique in the legal sector. Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management, and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role sits within our MLS team.
As the Vario team grows, we are looking for a Business Development Executive to support marketing activity for the four service lines across the Vario group: Consulting & Technology, Legal Project Management, Flexible Services, and Managed Legal Services. Working on a global scale, the successful candidate will be pivotal in building the Vario group's brand and reputation. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
The Vario Marketing & Business Development team is split between Birmingham and Dusseldorf and consists of one Senior BD Executive, one BD Executive, one BD Assistant, and a Business Development & Marketing Manager. Together, this collaborative and interactive team collaborates through joint projects, weekly meetings, and knowledge sharing. You will receive coaching and guidance from our Marketing & Business Development Manager as your career progresses.
Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm; however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
* Significant marketing experience within a business-to-business role, ideally obtained in a professional services environment
* Experience of the end-to-end events life cycle
* Experience of producing high-quality, client-facing marketing material
