In your new role as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be joining a strong, established team of Maintenance engineers, and will support the day-to-day manufacturing process in the most efficient manner, whilst working within a team structure.
What are we looking for:
* Time served Mechanical Engineer
* Maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
* City & Guilds qualification, Minimum level 2 or equivalent
* Excellent fitting skills, welding and fabrication skills
* Experience of planned maintenance
* Hydraulic and pneumatic fault finding
* Well organised, self-motivated and capable of working to tight deadlines
* Proactive approach to problem solving
Your Duties as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
* Performing reactive maintenance on a variety of mechanical machinery across the site
* Effective recording and monitoring of all engineering/production-based issues
* Troubleshooting problems and suggesting improvements to prevent reoccurrence
* Communicating with Production Managers / Team Leaders on progress of issues
* Investigating faults with plant and equipment, completing any necessary repairs, and reporting status within the maintenance recording system.
Working hours
7.30am-4pm, with an early dart on a Friday!!
Occasional overtime opportunities.
Salary - 31k.
