Our client, NYMS Services, is a small family-run organisation that owns the Pennine Care Centre. Pennine Care Centre is a 60-bed Residential Care home providing accommodation and care for vulnerable adults who require support around Dementia and Mental Health.
They are keen to appoint a Care Coordinator to support the Registered Manager in providing leadership to the administration, care, catering, housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance functions of the service at Pennine Care Centre, Glossop, SK13.
Responsibilities:
1. Being in charge of the day-to-day running of the service; supervising the senior carers and carers.
2. Being responsible for the day-to-day Compliance Activities; ensuring daily records, care planning updates, and MAR charts are completed to the required standard.
3. Being in charge of Compliance; conducting regular audits; Care Planning Audits, Meds audits, Infection Prevention Control audits, Safeguarding, and accidents and H&S Audits.
4. Providing line management support for some care managers and carers; supervising, supporting, and appropriately delegating tasks.
5. Leading some shifts; administering medications and supervising carers.
6. Ensuring safeguarding is at the heart of service delivery; providing support in managing incidents, escalating reports, and completing actions.
7. Working with the management team and undertaking care duties when required to cover staff absences.
8. Providing out-of-hours support.
Requirements:
As the successful candidate, you should have experience of working as a Team Leader or a Deputy Manager within a care home setting.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
