Responsibilities:
1. Engage with Retailer Teams: Collaborate with the marketing and buying teams of key retailers in the UK to develop impactful co-marketing campaigns, including managing marketing development funds (MDF) and aligning strategies with business goals.
2. Product Representation & In-Store Experience: Ensure that MSI products are represented to the highest standard in retail environments, including in-store displays, product ticketing, and visual merchandising. Drive excellence in product visibility and the overall customer journey.
3. Brand Awareness & Campaign Amplification: Work closely with retailers to amplify MSI-owned brand campaigns, ensuring the visibility and impact of marketing activities across multiple channels.
4. Budget & Resource Management: Own and manage retailer co-marketing/MDF budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and a clear path to ROI.
5. Sales & Strategic Account Targets: Collaborate with the retailer account management team to drive sales growth and meet strategic account objectives. Support the achievement of MSI’s overarching sales and business goals.
6. Co-Marketing Execution & Reporting: Oversee the execution of co-marketing initiatives, ensuring timely and effective delivery of campaigns. Provide reporting on KPIs, campaign performance, and marketing spend.
7. Partnership & Alliance Management: Manage relationships with strategic retail partners and relevant alliance partners, including overseeing the approval, claims, and proof of execution for marketing funds.
Qualifications:
* Marketing Experience: Proven experience in retail marketing, ideally in the tech or gaming sector. Demonstrated ability to manage co-marketing campaigns, MDF, and retail partnerships.
* Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to turn business strategies into practical marketing initiatives that drive results.
* Budget Management: Experience managing co-marketing and MDF budgets, with a focus on optimising spend for maximum impact.
* Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally with internal teams (sales, product, operations) and external retail partners.
* Project Management: Solid project management skills to oversee marketing initiatives from planning through execution and reporting.
* Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate plans and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Retail Marketing Expertise: Experience in creating and executing in-store campaigns, visual merchandising, and digital/physical marketing strategies for retailers.
* Trend Awareness: Awareness of retail and consumer electronics trends, and the ability to leverage these insights to improve marketing initiatives.
