An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Hair and Beauty curriculum area for a full-time Hairdressing and Barbering Lecturer. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in education or training who will be able to deliver on a range of Hairdressing and Barbering courses at different levels.
We are looking for candidates that can demonstrate effective and dynamic lesson planning, an ability to engage and inspire students, excellent communication skills, a team player, ideally hold an assessor qualification and have experience in delivering both practical and theoretical training.
The ideal candidate will hold:
* Level 3 in their specialism
* Minimum Level 2 in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent)
* Applicants will be required to hold a full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above or be willing to work towards obtaining one. If you do not hold a suitable teaching qualification, the College will support you to obtain this as part of our investment in your professional development
You will also be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering high quality teaching and learning.
