Your future duties and responsibilities:
The successful Proposal Manager will be involved in the creation, capture and management of content into proposals which supports the strategic must-win bids and opportunities. This encompasses a number of different disciplines including; facilitating proposal creation, reviews, document management and administrative support.
As a Proposal Manager you will provide comprehensive proposal management support through the deployment of industry and company standard methodologies, tools and processes and be an integral member of the bid team, responsible for managing the production of high quality client deliverables that not only adhere to CGI standards but provide a competitive edge. You will be working across a variety of presales engagements, with clients from a broadening industry spectrum. You will support our growth ambitions on target book to bill, and to materially impact our win ratio by transforming the quality of our bid responses.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
As a Proposal Manager you will work as an integral member of the bid team, reporting to the bid manager throughout the process to deliver successful proposal responses. Along with key soft skills, the successful Proposal Manager will need experience with the following:
- Ability to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines
- Plan, produce and deliver compliant proposals in a complex business environment
- Scheduling/running proposal meetings & leading storyboarding sessions
- Organisation of time-critical activities

- Strong and clear communication skills with attention to detail
- APMP accreditation highly desirable
