Front of House Supervisor
Based in Hove | onsite role
8:00am to 5:00pm | Monday to Friday
Immediate start role | Temp to Permanent | Temp for 3 months initially
Pay rate up to £17.50 per hour + holiday pay
One of my regular clients has reached out to me to recruit a Front of House Supervisor for them on a Temp to Permanent basis at their office based in Hove. This is an immediate start role so only candidates who are immediately available or available on short notice will be considered.
The main purpose of this role will be to oversee the Front of House, Reception & Concierge team at this location, ensuring staff are managed efficiently & effectively and the best possible service is delivered to visitors & staff within the office at all times.
Duties involved in this role will include:
* Supervising the team to ensure site procedures and service standards are followed
* Quality checking the service and experience being delivered by the team
* Acting as main support to the FOH leadership team and FMs
* Acting as first point of contact for team relating to: absence planning and reporting, lateness & rota preparation
* Being a role model to the service team, and conduct oneself in a warm, professional and engaging manner at all times
* Proactively manage the workspace, relating to Ambassador duties and scope
* Coordinating any last minute labour changes to ensure sites are staffed adequately
* Proactively look out for & identify building issues ensuring work orders are logged and a swift resolution is implemented
* Meeting room setup & checks including AV & IT kit
* Various other duties as required/directed
In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
* Previous experience in a supervisory capacity within a Reception or Front of House role - this experience is ESSENTIAL
* Candidates from a high-end hotel or hospitality background would be preferred although this is not essential
* Prior experience of basic Facilities Management
* Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal
* Solid IT & technology skills with the ability to use the full MS Office suite & competence using headsets & tablets
