Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
1. Solid experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, including the use of IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
2. Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and printers.
3. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration (user management, email configurations) and a good understanding of network basics (e.g., IP addressing, DNS, DHCP).
4. CompTIA A+ or similar certifications, ITIL Foundation Certification, and Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals (Azure, M365), Office 365/Azure are preferred.
5. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and basic networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls).
6. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
7. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
8. A customer service mindset with a proactive approach to resolving issues while prioritizing tasks effectively, alongside high attention to detail.
9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
10. Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with new technologies.
11. A valid driver's license and access to a car with relevant business insurance are required.
Your responsibilities are:
In this role, I will need you to:
1. Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, and network issues to our internal staff in a timely manner.
2. Set up and configure new workstations, which includes hardware and software installation and maintenance (e.g., Windows, MacOS).
3. Assist in managing user accounts, email, and access permissions.
4. Maintain an IT asset inventory and ensure all devices are updated and functional.
5. Support backup, security, and disaster recovery procedures.
6. Escalate unresolved issues to second-level support or external vendors when needed.
7. Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in our helpdesk systems, including systems and software monitoring and escalation.
8. Participate in setting up IT infrastructure for events, meetings, or new office installations.
