About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Risk Management Specialist with a strong background in evaluating and quantifying potential risks to the organisation's cyber security posture. This role involves assessing vulnerabilities, identifying threats, quantifying business impacts, and developing strategies for risk mitigation.
Reporting to the Cyber Risk Management Manager, this role will ensure that the business maintains a proactive and effective approach to managing its cyber risks and meeting strict regulatory requirements for risk management.
Key Responsibilities: (not limited to)
1. Conduct comprehensive, structured cyber risk assessments to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts to information and operational systems.
2. Collaborate with colleagues across the business to gather detailed information on applications, systems, and business processes.
3. Employ appropriate tools and methodologies to identify, assess, and prioritise cyber risks across the IT and OT estate.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to assign appropriate risk levels and priorities for remediation.
5. Work closely with internal colleagues and external teams to understand and assess the effectiveness of existing security controls.
6. Provide recommendations for improving security measures and reducing risk exposure where applicable.
7. Collaborate with the Cyber Risk Management Manager to provide insights into potential risks and vulnerabilities associated with security incidents.
Qualifications:
1. CISSP
2. Proven experience in cyber security risk assessment and risk management roles
3. Proven experience in a hands-on technical IT or OT role
4. In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
5. Familiarity with cyber security principles and best practices.
6. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Security, Risk Management or related field. (desired)
