Job Description:
An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Care Home Manager to manage an exceptional care home based in the Great Yarmouth, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health care providers.
A luxury care home, designed for resident wellbeing, it boasts beautifully appointed bedrooms and expansive living spaces, ensuring that every detail is meticulously crafted to provide the highest standard of care and living.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin. Will accept Non-Nurse Managers – must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage staff and resources so that each resident can enjoy a dignified and fulfilling life.
2. Work closely with your Clinical Lead and the wider healthcare and hospitality teams to ensure the quality of individual service and care consistently meets high standards and those of our external regulators.
3. Create and lead a vision for the home to ensure a philosophy of continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting the home’s journey to ‘outstanding’.
4. Manage people and processes, liaising closely with residents, their families, professional contacts, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Previous experience of managing a care home.
2. Good working knowledge with a proven record of CQC standards and ability to work towards achieving Outstanding.
3. Good communication skills and ability to maintain excellent working relationships at all levels.
4. A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector.
5. Enthusiasm and passion for developing a high level of person-centred care.
6. Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service.
The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £60,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours a week from 9am to 5pm. In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive the following generous benefits:
