Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: Carmarthenshire, Carmarthenshire, Cross Hands and surrounding areas. Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £83.85 - £83.85 Per day Job Duties: Providing support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities Assisting in implementing individual education plans Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons Helping students to develop their social skills and independence Assisting with the supervision of students during break and lunch times Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Welsh Language preferred but not essential Education: Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs (SEN) Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with learning difficulties Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy towards students facing challenges Preferred Qualifications: Higher level qualification in Education or SEN Working Conditions: This role involves working within a school environment, supporting students with diverse learning needs.
