Robert Half Talent Solution are partnering with a company based in Cardiff to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant on a Permanent basis. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department with various accounting and administrative tasks.
Position Details:
Permanent - Hybrid working, Mon - Thurs office based and Friday working from home.
Salary - £27,000
Location - Cardiff
Your responsibilities will include:
* General Ledger Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance of the general ledger by recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing journal entries as needed.
* Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
* Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance department, such as answering phones, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence.
* Process Invoices & Receipts.
* Take control of Sage.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounting function. Implement best practices to streamline workflows and improve accuracy.
* Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis.
Requirements:
* Process Driven.
* Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
* Proficiency in Sage and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
