The Rebates Analyst will play a crucial role in managing customer overriders and rebates, ensuring accurate accruals, and maintaining a systematic approach to rebate agreements. This position involves close collaboration with the commercial team and Master Data to streamline processes and enhance financial accuracy. Liaise with the commercial team and Master Data to set up customer overriders and rebates accurately. Verify that all overriders and rebates are accruing correctly, ensuring financial data integrity. Agree on customer deductions and clear them off the sales ledger against the existing accruals. Reconcile the balance sheet accruals for each overrider and rebate, maintaining precise financial records. Oversee the final settlement and management of aged balances, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions. Maintain a comprehensive master list of all rebate agreements, ensuring all details are up-to-date and accurate. Drive efforts to systemize all overriders and rebates, minimizing manual accruals with a target of achieving zero manual interventions. Perform ad-hoc duties to support the finance team as needed, contributing to overall team. Proven experience in a financial or rebates analyst role. Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
