Residential Support Worker Young People Location: Didcot Contract: Full-Time (including alternate weekends and sleep-in shifts) Start Date: Immediate Salary: £16.50 - £18.00 plus sleep in allowance Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our team About the Role: As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for young people. You will work closely with the team to ensure their emotional, social, and developmental needs are met. Key Responsibilities: Supporting young people in their daily routines, including educational and recreational activities. Building positive, trusting relationships and acting as a role model. Assisting with care plans and ensuring their individual needs are met. Carrying out household tasks to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Participating in alternate weekend shifts and completing a couple of sleep-in shifts each week. Requirements: Experience in working with young people in a similar setting is desirable. A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their full potential. Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and overnight stays. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (applicants with this will benefit from speedy onboarding). Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
