Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy Band: 5/6 Location: Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire Working Hours: 37.5 hours Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hand Therapy Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our esteemed NHS client’s dynamic team in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire. This position is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract, offering competitive rates. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will deliver high-quality hand therapy services to patients with various upper limb conditions. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing individualised treatment plans, providing therapeutic interventions, and supporting patients in their recovery journey. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients. Your responsibilities will also include managing complex cases, offering specialist advice, conducting ward rounds, reviewing patient cases and providing feedback, attending relevant patient meetings, and engaging with local and national networks to elevate the profile of our centre. You will ensure all therapeutic approaches are evidence-based and effective.
