Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a QA Test Analyst on a 12 month contract If you are a strong communicator who can overcome critical problems at pace and driven by a passion for testing and delivering quality to ensure a better user experience, then this could be the role for you Reporting to the QA Test Manager, you will be able to partner with the rest of the business to enable the effective use of IT systems and services through analysing and testing data to enable the successful delivery of solutions. We are looking for someone who understands why strong teamwork is important, so you will relish the opportunity of working across internal and external teams and building strong relationships. You will have an inquisitive approach to questioning inaccurate practices, ensuring you exchange ideas, knowledge, and experience to boost the quality and efficiency of the solution. Reviewing and analysing specifications and requirements to produce detailed test plans, test scripts, test cases, and test exit reports to ensure the delivery of high-quality products, you will also be responsible for understanding requirements from our technical teams in Development, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Database Analytics influencing internal technical teams to create the requirements for testing. Being an expert in your field, you will have experience of using T-SQL to create queries, test tables, and queries across multiple databases, a background in writing test scripts and regression packs, and knowledge of test tools, i.e. SoapUI, Postman, and Leapworks. With the confidence and ability to escalate test issues and risks to the Test Manager, you will ensure that all parties are clear on terminology, producing agreed-upon reporting, metrics, and documentation to allow UAT to be completed. With excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, you will be able to report with clarity about issues and work together with the team to ensure they are resolved. You will host Test meetings including but not limited to Defect Triage and Risk Reviews whilst being experienced in making a case for getting the right solution for the business and ensuring this is done efficiently.
