About the Role
We now have an opportunity for a Senior Systems Maintenance Technician to work primarily as part of Diamonds Installation and Facility Management (IFM) maintenance team.
The role is responsible for providing both technical support and assisting the team in performing building services and building fabric maintenance.
Keys responsibilities will include:
The development / implementation and supervision of operational and maintenance systems and procedures.
Using tools such as EPICs and the Building Management System (BMS) to ascertain root cause analysis and determine preventive actions and assisting the maintenance team in resetting faults on the BMS and liaising with the mechanical BMS team to improve equipment operation and reliability.
Assisting the Maintenance Manager to undertake system and project design reviews and providing support to the project.
Supporting and assisting / covering the Maintenance Administrator in evolution applications, planned maintenance, reactive jobs, and spares stock control.
Providing line management to the Maintenance Support Technician in the Maintenance Managers absence.
Problem solving and fault diagnosis on all site services, including electrical systems and mechanical systems.
Carrying out safety risk assessments.
As and when necessary, the role may be required to support non maintenance activities within the IFM Group and participate in the on call arrangements.
About You
You will hold a City & Guilds BS7671 Wiring Regulations Qualification or demonstrate equivalent knowledge, and you should have served a recognised Apprenticeship in an Engineering discipline.
You will also demonstrate experience with:
* LV Electrical systems.
* Electrical cabling to 18thEdition Wiring Regs.
* UPS systems, LV standby generators, fire detection and smoke control systems.
* Quality Control Systems, Work Planning and Safe Systems of work.
* Supervising people.
Any experience with Building Management Systems is desirable.
