School Crossing About the role 12.10 per hour Do you want to be part of a service that plays an essential role in your community? Our school crossing team are currently recruiting for Supply Crossing Patrol within the Bury area. If you are reliable and enthusiastic and want to feel part of the community spirit we would welcome your application to join our team. You will see children safely across the road on their way to and from school and enable the safe passage of all pedestrians at designated places and times. You will also provide emergency school crossing patrol cover at other crossing points within Bury as required by the needs of the service. No previous experience is necessary, full training and uniform will be provided. There is a need for you to be flexible in your hours and place of work, sometimes receiving changes with very short notice. Crossing patrols are only required to work early in the morning at the start of the school day and mid afternoon at the end of the school day.
