Sellick Partnership is seeking a senior associate to join a firm in Oxford. This position will involve working in the Restructuring & Insolvency Team, which forms part of the wider Commercial Dispute Resolution team.
A broad knowledge and significant experience of both contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring law are required. The role will suit a confident and experienced senior associate who is committed to providing the best and most efficient possible service to clients and is looking for an opportunity to help grow a team and mentor and bring the best out of junior lawyers and paralegals.
The successful candidate will:
* Have excellent technical knowledge of and familiarity with contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring law, and a genuine enthusiasm for the practice area and how it will develop in the future
* Have the ability to act for a very broad range of clients including insolvency practitioners, corporate entities, directors and shareholders, in addition to individuals concerning personal insolvency
* Have experience in administrations, receiverships, members voluntary liquidations, CVLs and compulsory liquidation
* Be comfortable working under pressure with the ability to prioritise work and deliver to changing deadlines whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
* Be a proactive and collaborative team member with a professional, user-focused approach
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Be highly IT iliterate
* Have the ability to work well in partnership with lawyers and support staff, for the benefit of clients
