About the service:
The Eating Disorders Teamsis a countywide service that provides clinical management and psychologicalinterventions for people with eating disorders across Worcestershire.
You will be joining a well-establishedmultidisciplinary team who values the variety of skills, knowledge andexperience each member brings.

Main duties of the job
Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for supporting effectiveimplementation of evidence based psychological therapy for our client group.
Thepost holder will be expected to work collaboratively with the key partnerorganisations, patients, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within themulti-disciplinary teams.
Applicantswill need to have a genuine interest in eating disorders and the expansion anddevelopment of the service. The post holder will have a clinical caseloadproviding specialist psychological assessments leading to the development ofpsychological formulations and interventions, for individuals who presentwithin this service. The role will also involve delivering training andsupporting the professional development of colleagues to work therapeuticallywith our client group. As such, excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills are essential to this position.

12. A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologist within the relevant area
13. Sufficient training and experience to be recognised by the Division of Clinical/Counselling Psychology as a suitably qualified psychologist to offer clinical placements to trainee Clinical/Counselling Psychologists
14. Training and experience in the application of psychological knowledge within a number of different specialties
15. Experience of assessing and providing a wide range of psychological interventions to patients presenting with the full degree of clinical severity and across a range of clinical mental health presentations
16. Experience of conducting clinically relevant research

23. BSc/BA Honours degree at 2:1 or above in psychology
24. Post graduate Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS)
25. Post qualification training in specific, evidence based techniques for use with clients with complex psychological presentations and/or physical health difficulties, across the age span
26. Evidence of regular further professional training and experience as required by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the BPS
27. Eligible for registration as a Chartered Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling) by the BPS
28. Eligible for registration as a Practitioner member of the BPS Division of Clinical/Counselling Psychology
29. Registered with HCPC as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
30. I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
