Position: IT Support Engineer Reporting to: IT Manager (dotted line to Marketing Manager) Company Profile Neville UK PLC is a privately-owned PLC, supplying tableware and light catering equipment to the food service industry since 1965. Our New Product Development programme launches over 400 products a year, spanning both front and back of house. These are split between 4 launches a year, with each launch supported by a fully interactive digital e-Brochure. Every launch is supported by a wealth of lifestyle photography, which is supplied to our distributors for their marketing material, as well as various marketing communications. The role of the IT Support Engineer is to assist the IT Manager to ensure the company’s internal IT systems (hardware and software) are functioning and operational 24/7. The role will focus on supporting key operational functions, Monday – Friday, in addition to maintaining all onsite and offsite IT hardware. They will also be the first point of contact for all website related issues and will also assist the Marketing Manager in developing the company’s online presence, taking the website to the next level It is essential that the customer website journey is easy, effective and targeted correctly. Qualifications/Requirements Experience in IT Support, and/or be studying for an IT related qualification Experience and/or knowledge of E-Commerce Skills and Experience Essential: Proficient Microsoft Office / PC skills and knowledge Working knowledge and understanding of CSS and HTML Understanding and/or experience of B2B website development, reporting and management Ability to learn quickly Enthusiastic and proactive can-do attitude Ability to organise effectively, prioritise multiple tasks and work within timescales. Ability to communicate effectively across all functions. Attention to detail and results focused Desirable: Data analysis / reporting experience Role and Responsibilities: First-line internal & external user support on all hardware and software issues Co-ordinate upgrades / installation with the IT Manager and external IT support partners Be the first point of contact for all website related issues that need to be resolved with website provider (Netalogue/TrueCommerce) Work with our website provider to test and implement the new releases per year. Review and recommend newly realised features that can be implemented into our releases. Management, reporting and development of the Nevilles website, as well as ongoing review, testing and monitoring Support the Marketing Manager to develop and grow the E-Commerce platform Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify areas of E-Commerce opportunity for our website. Management and development of the Nevilles and GenWare App Perform any other duties as and when required
