Mechanical Assembly Operative – Sutton in Ashfield – £37,000 per year – 4 day working week!
Ford & Stanley are delighted to be partnered with one of the UK’s largest manufacturers in switchgear and power distribution. As such we are on the lookout for Assembly Operatives who are looking to work 4 days per week.
As a Mechanical Assembly Operative, you will be working electrical storage units that are fitted to exciting projects, produced for upgrading the local community.
Role Responsibilities:
Adhere to the Job Pack information. Refer to and follow the Company Engineering and Test Standards where appropriate. Assist the Works Supervisor and Lead Operative. Provide guidance and support to sub-contractors. Work closely with the Supervisor and Lead Operative of any urgently required equipment and any concerns regarding parts/build/equipment. To effectively maintain the tidiness, safety and cleanliness of the work areas.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working within a mechanical position previously. Experience in reading & understanding mechanical drawings. UK driving licence or within a reasonable commute to Sutton in Ashfield.
Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday (4 day working week) 4:00pm- 02:30am
