The role
could involve management and oversight in the following areas:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational finance including: accounts payable | receivable review and management, bank reconciliations, general ledger accounting
2. Management accounting – actuals, budgets and rolling forecasts
3. Financial control including oversight of balance sheet reviews
4. Involvement in period/ year end close processes
5. Financial accounting – involvement in preparation of financial statements under applicable Reporting Standards
6. Collaborating with the client delivery teams in tasks and activities that span across operational finance and financial reporting
7. Managing and coaching our managers and senior associates in their roles in delivery
8. Scoping and understanding the client’s current system and reporting requirements
9. Contributing to the creation and providing best practice challenge to finance processes
10. Working with Technology solution team on set up of accounting system
11. Implementation of workflow and work management tools
12. Communication with client and internal stakeholders
13. Coaching and mentoring and the ongoing development of the team
