Responsibilities: Process purchase invoices and employee expense forms in a timely manner Prepare and process twice-monthly payment run reports Reconcile supplier statements to aged creditor reports within the accounting system resolving any issues Maintain the purchase ledger database for current suppliers' contact details, adding new suppliers as required Complete VAT returns Month End activities Requirements: At least 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, preferably A level qualification Strong experience working within a Finance department, preferably involving purchase ledger Experience of working a hi-tech or RandD organisation would be beneficial Competency in double entry bookkeeping and accounting principles Excellent IT skills with advanced proficiency in MS Excel A good knowledge of accounting software (SUN Systems advantageous) Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below
