What You’ll Be Doing: Personal Assistant - Senior Leadership Team, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
As the Personal Assistant to the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll provide vital secretarial and administrative support to senior leaders responsible for local and regional policing portfolios. Each day will bring fresh challenges and opportunities for you to make a difference. Key responsibilities include:
* Diary Management : Organise appointments, arrange meetings, and prioritise competing demands for senior leaders.
* Autonomous Problem-Solving : Work independently, anticipating and addressing issues in your managers' absence.
* Stakeholder Liaison : Coordinate with other senior managers and external organisations, ensuring timely availability of key briefing notes and documents.
* Meeting Management : From room bookings to preparing papers and agendas, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that meetings run smoothly. You’ll also take minutes and track action points via Microsoft Teams.
* Communication Management : Handle emails on behalf of your managers, prioritise tasks, delegate as needed, and proactively resolve any issues.
* Travel Coordination : Arrange travel plans for your managers to ensure their schedules are met efficiently.
Are You the Right Fit? Personal Assistant - Senior Leadership Team, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
We are looking for a dedicated and organised professional who aligns with our core values and mission. You should bring:
* At least 3 years of experience (or equivalent) in a secretarial/PA role
* A GCSE in English Language (minimum Grade C) or equivalent
* Secretarial qualifications (e.g., RSAIII) and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite
* Experience in minute-taking and document preparation
* Clear, concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to draft correspondence
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills
* A solution-focused mindset and the ability to manage multiple tasks and demands
* Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing responsibilities and working hours
