Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to help deliver a top-tier, customer-focused installation, repair, and maintenance service across multiple buildings.
You will be responsible for a broad range of reactive plumbing tasks at various sites and premises, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. In this role, you will also supervise the Maintenance Assistants, ensuring a safe working environment for our staff, residents, and visitors.
Duties
1. Assist the team in delivering a first-class customer-oriented installation, repair, and maintenance service to multiple buildings.
2. Carry out a wide range of reactive plumbing works at various sites and premises in accordance with the appropriate regulations and standards. Supervise the work of the Maintenance Assistants to maintain a safe working environment for all staff, residents, and visitors.
3. Upon completion of your probation period, participate in the On-call Rota; being on call 24/7 for 1 week in 4. Call out payments will be made in line with the relevant rate of pay for the call out period required.
About You
You should have a City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in a Plumbing Trade, or a Level 2 qualification with at least three years of proven commercial and domestic experience and be willing to train to Level 3. All trade-specific and statutory training will be provided, along with a uniform and the necessary tools for the tasks you undertake.

Principal Accountabilities
1. Ensure all work complies with relevant Health & Safety and statutory requirements, including Gas Safe registration.
2. Assist in the practical management of Legionella works, collaborating with specialist contractors to maintain safe systems throughout the estate.
3. Undertake tasks assigned via the Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system, ensuring timely updates and completion to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) KPIs.
4. Identify and quantify materials needed for work requests, ensuring timely ordering and monitoring stock levels. Report low stock to the Senior Supervisor promptly.
5. Conduct regular plant and site checks in line with BM’s schedules, maintaining adequate records and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, updated on CAFM.
6. Attend weekly operational meetings to review and allocate workload collaboratively with the Plumbing team.
7. Assist the estates team in implementing the CAFM system and act as an ambassador for the system within the team.
