Purpose of the role:
Support the CRM agenda within marketing at Iceland, continually optimising and evolving our CRM communications to drive online transactions and benefit the broader marketing objective of driving multi-channel transactions through increased loyalty and Lifetime value of customers
1. Perform day to day email delivery activities including, but not limited to, email campaign development, testing, scheduling, deployment and monitoring of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic email campaigns.
2. Campaign activity focused on, but not limited to, Trade, cross sell and upsell communication
3. Coordinate with Trade Managers and design resources to procure creative assets.
4. Coordinate with wider marketing and Trade teams to develop campaigns and share results
5. Manage relationship with UX and design team to share learning and drive engaging content
6. Apply knowledge of multiple aspects of email marketing including dynamic program implementation, A/B testing, and general industry trends and metrics.
7. Apply knowledge of best practice ecommerce
Skills:
8. Ideally experience in creating CRM communications
9. Experience with A/B testing
10. Hands on experience of building and deploying campaigns in a marketing cloud platform ideally email/SMS/Push notifications
11. Knowledge of CRM best practices and benchmarks
12. Retail industry preferred although not essential
13. You need to be results driven and commercially aware
14. You need to be able to juggle multiple tasks, can work to a plan and work in a fast pace, reactive environment
Experience:
15. You need to have excellent attention to detail
16. An excellent communicator with strong verbal and written skills
17. Key Stakeholder management
18. Agile and responsive to trading requirements
19. Comfortable with working under pressure
Specialist skills and knowledge:
20. Strong understanding of CRM cross sell/upsell techniques – essential
21. Strong understanding of campaign implementation - essential
22. A/B testing – essential
23. Marketing automation tool experience - preferred
24. Salesforce – Exact Target/Marketing Cloud experience – preferred
25. Google Analytics – Essential
26. Excel - Essential
