BRADFORD WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our Renewables (Wind Energy) team as a Transport Clerk, reporting directly to the Renewables Director. Responsibilities Field incoming calls and emails from customers, drivers, and sub-contractors. Assisting and dealing with the planning & scheduling of Road transport operations. Assisting on site visits and contribute to route planning for delivery of components. Carry out general office duties as required. Record and report progress and task development accurately and in a timely manner. Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, drivers, and colleagues. Qualifications / oFFICE sKILLS Minimum education to O Level standard (Math’s and English essential); A Level or equivalent preferred. Experience in a logistics or transport environment preferred but not essential. Full clean driving license (preferred but not essential). High level of computer skill and competency, including Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to complete tasks with a high level of attention to detail. Capable of recording and reporting progress of tasks effectively. Good telephone manner with strong communication skills. Location & Conditions Location: Based at our Renewables department in Bradford, West Yorkshire. Could require attendance when required at site meetings in the UK and sometimes EU basis. Working Hours: Anticipated normal working hours are Monday to Friday 08.00hrs to 18.00hrs. Overtime and weekend working may be required by the demands of the business. Holidays: 28 days per year (including bank holidays), with an option to purchase up to five additional days (Holiday purchase scheme subject to conditions).
