UK Independence Team – Risk Management – Independence Senior Associate (Pensions support) – Permanent – Belfast/Leeds/London.

The Risk Management (RM) group is responsible for the promotion, protection and support of risk management within the business. The group aims to uphold our business standards, maintain and enhance the value of the brand, and ensure that the firm complies with the rules and regulations imposed on it in relation to the conduct of its business.
The UK Independence Team forms part of the UK&I Risk Management Group (“RM”) which reports directly to senior management.
The Opportunity:
A vacancy now exists for a Senior Associate within the Personal Independence area of the UK Independence team. This is a permanent, full-time position based in London. Prior Independence experience is desirable but not essential.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provision of advice and guidance to EY professionals and Partners with respect to EY's Hospitality, Gifts and Favours restrictions.
* Completion of internal control activities that support the firm's Independence compliance.
* Supporting senior colleagues within the Independence team on projects, as required.
* Working with colleagues in EY overseas Global Delivery Services functions, including reviewing the output/quality of work they produce and providing feedback as required.
* Ad hoc support of other parts of the UKI Independence Team.
What we look for:
* Independence professionals with significant experience at Associate level looking for the next step in their career.
* Alternatively, Risk Management/Compliance professionals currently working at a Senior Associate level.
* Knowledge of the UK pensions landscape.
* Individuals with audit/assurance or other relevant professional qualifications with experience in quality/risk management/independence procedures.

* Have strong analytical and interpretation skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Be adaptable and flexible with good team working skills.
* Have the ability to work to pre-determined deadlines and meet objectives under pressure.
