Job summary Are you passionate about digital learning and education development? North East Ambulance Service NHS Trust is looking for a Digital Education Coordinator to support our training and development initiatives. As an integral member of the Education Department, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the development of e-learning courses, maintaining the Learning Management System (LMS), and providing support to staff, apprentices, and volunteers on digital education matters. You will ensure compliance with statutory and mandatory training, produce workforce metrics reports, and work closely with the wider education team to enhance online learning. The ideal candidate will have strong IT and administrative skills, experience in digital education systems, and the ability to interpret data. Knowledge of e-learning platforms, video editing, and reporting systems is desirable. Main duties of the job Working as an integral part of the wider Education Department, responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining a library of e-Learning courses that meet the needs of the organisation. Responsible for assisting with updates for the design and development of e-Learning by liaising with subject experts, as well as identifying new topics that would be appropriate for online delivery. First point of contact within the Trust to provide support to users (staff, apprentices and volunteers) regarding complex, technical and routine e-learning queries and issues, as well as maintaining the administrative and technical aspects of the learning management systems. Responsibility for managing, updating and maintaining the Oracle Learning Management system (ESR) to ensure accurate and effective management data is available to respond to queries and to produce complex reports including compliance reports and interpret the information. Providing general and specialist advice, including the analysis of data to ensure compliance, and interpreting this data to support managers and staff across the organisation in matters related to education and appraisals. Address and resolve issues related to e-Learning, appraisal recording, and ESR training records, escalating to internal and external support teams when necessary.
