Job Description
Guinness Property is expanding our team in Havant and we are looking for a Multi-Skilled Technician Joiner to join our Empty Homes Team covering Guinness homes in Crawley, Woking, Caterham, and surrounding areas. These are full-time, permanent vacancies, working 39 hours per week, Mon - Fri. Candidates must live within 20 miles of Crawley to reach all locations in a timely manner.

Essential Skills/Experience:
* Demonstrable competence within the Joinery and Carpentry trade.
* Various multi-trade skills and experience, sufficient to enable the completion of repairs at the first visit (first time fix).
* Experience of working in a customer-focused environment.
* Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures & accurately record information.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating organizational & time management skills.
* Ability to make decisions and solve problems, seeking any advice required.
* Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
* Ability to operate safely, considering any environmental circumstances and possible risks.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
* Experience of working within the social housing sector.
Essential Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification or equivalent recognized competency in the Joinery & Carpentry trade.

A full current driving license is needed so you can drive one of our vans when necessary. Offers are subject to satisfactory driving license and onboarding checks. This position will require a basic DBS check, which will be paid for by The Guinness Partnership.
