Job Details
* Position: Early Years Support Assistant
* Start Date: 6th January 2025
* Contract: Part time. Mornings only, Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities
* Assist in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that support early development in line with the EYFS framework
* Provide one-on-one and small group support, fostering a safe and inclusive environment for young learners
* Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development
* Collaborate with the class teacher and EYFS team to create a nurturing and stimulating learning space
* Monitor and record students' progress, communicating effectively with teachers and parents
Qualifications
* Relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent)
* Previous experience working with children in an Early Years setting is desirable
* Patient, caring, and supportive with excellent communication skills
* A proactive approach to supporting children’s learning and development
* A current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
