IKEA Brighton is looking to welcome an Interior Designer to our new store! In IKEA, we refer to this role as an interior design co-worker.
We seek passionate and creative interior designers to join our IKEA store team. As an interior designer, you will bring visions to life with innovative and functional design solutions. Your responsibilities will include space planning, selecting IKEA products and materials, and ensuring each project aligns with our brand's aesthetic and practical standards. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of style, and a desire to create beautiful, functional spaces using IKEA's extensive range of products, we would love to hear from you!
WHAT WE OFFER
1. The start date of employment will be the week beginning 16th June 2025
2. Starting salary of £27,772.62 per annum, based on competence and experience
3. 39 hours working 5 days per week, including alternate weekends and at least one evening shift per week

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
* A qualification in interior design
* Knowledge of design software such as Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
* Excitement about home furnishings and design, with the ability to inspire customers
* A hands-on approach, comfortable working with hand tools and at heights
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
* Use interior design skills to enhance the IKEA identity, inspiring visitors through soft furnishings and styling
* Plan and implement inspiring commercial displays in the store
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless shopping experience
* Contribute to positioning IKEA as the top choice for home furnishing in the local market
* Stay updated on trends in home furnishings and retail experience
