Purpose of the Job: A senior broking role working on long term ACMI enquiries, and fixtures with the remit extending from business development and lead generation to sourcing solutions and fixing contracts. Part of this role includes mentoring and developing less experienced brokers in both a formal and an informal setting. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Acting as a senior broker on ACMI long term enquiries, maintaining high levels of broking activities to find the best solution to meet client’s needs and managing client and supplier airline relationships. Provide input and guidance to the Director of Leasing on market intelligence and trends within own sectors/regions as appropriate Plan and implement marketing and business development to existing and new prospect customers in line with the ACMI business strategy either via themselves or through other team members. Negotiate and maximise potential margins on all own enquiries and guiding team members to achieve this with their enquiries. Play a senior role within the ACMI team, providing support to less experienced members through mentoring and guidance, to deliver high performance. Anticipating and out manoeuvring rivals in a competitive broking environment Delivering a first-class customer service to ensure that all flights meet the clients’ deadlines. Updating and maintaining the CRM database ensuring that the database is up to date with activity and information. This will include updating contacts and accounts in the system to ensure our marketing reaches the right people To be part of the company duty rota system, maintaining a 24hr a day service, 7 days a week Build a knowledge and understanding all ACC Aviation Group products including Consulting and Charter in order to be able to present full service offering to airline customers and suppliers to refer leads to relevant ACC departments Prepare quarterly Board reports. Accountabilities: Work towards agreed, measurable performance targets and standards. To assist with the motivation and management of the team. Represent the Company in a highly professional and competent manner and exercising a reasonable commercial judgement. Maintain strict company and client confidentiality at all times. Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: 7 years ACMI broking experience, airline commercial or aviation related sales. Excellent understanding of the ACMI leasing industry and potential airline prospects worldwide. Highly target driven individual, motivated to find and ‘Win’ business through their own individual actions as well as the team’s Experience of mentoring, coaching and leading less experienced team members. Superior time management and prioritisation skills to ensure rigorous deadlines are met, whilst maintaining flexibility in a rapidly changing, ambiguous team environment Customer focused with first rate people skills Good written and communication skills. Excellent IT skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook with the ability to learn and use systems to maximum advantage. Precise and accurate data entry, with an attention to detail. Work flexibly with different time zones worldwide outside of office hours as required.
