To work with the ANNB Screening Coordinator as a skilled practitioner ensuring that ANNB Screening is available for all women, infants, and their families. Support the ANNB Screening Coordinator to lead an effective Screening service for the Trust. Act as a resource to the Maternity Services multi-disciplinary team and be actively involved in multidisciplinary and patient safety forums. To work as an autonomous, competent practitioner, fulfilling the role of the midwife in accordance with the NMC Code: Professional standards of practice and behaviour for nurses, midwives and nursing associates (2015) Contribute to the development of ANNB screening policies and guidelines, audit, and research within the maternity services. Identify personal learning needs and further develop professional knowledge as required. Communicate effectively with women, their families and within the multi-professional health care team. Support and work as required across maternity services.
