Site Visit: Friday 22nd November 2024 from 10 am to 12 pm and Tuesday 26th November 2024 from 10 am to 2 pm – Ring the school for an appointment

The school building is just over 5 years old and situated over 4 floors. We have 28 classrooms and various other therapy and teaching rooms.
The school is a LA Maintained Special Primary School for approx. 130+ staff and 275 children with SLD, ASD, Speech and Language Needs, Downs Syndrome, SEMH and Complex Needs and MLD.
We need an experienced and highly organised Site Manager with proven track record of working in a busy premises environment. Responsibilities include:
1. Dealing with contract management
2. Day to day maintenance
3. Health & Safety planning and maintenance
4. Managing projects from conception to completion
We are looking for someone who can work with the SLT to move the school forward ensuring the highest H&S standards, providing support and guidance to the Office Manager, SBL, and SLT to ensure that all statutory requirements are exceeded.
You will need excellent team management skills as you will be managing a caretaking team and be the first point of call for our onsite contractors – catering and cleaners. Candidates should have building maintenance skills including basic plumbing and demonstrate experience in a professional capacity in the areas outlined in the personal specification and job description.
You need to be competent using various Microsoft packages including Excel. Previous experience with Every Business Management and Assets would be advantageous.
