As a Store Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our stores operate efficiently while maintaining high standards.Role Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to deliver excellent serviceFoster a positive and engaging workplace cultureRecruit, train, and develop colleagues to support career progressionConduct performance reviews and provide coaching to improve team engagementManage absence levels and assist the HR team with recruitmentCustomer Service & Community Engagement Ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all timesPromote customer loyalty and make the store a central part of the local communityEncourage the team to actively promote Society membership and its benefitsParticipate in and support local community eventsFinancial & Commercial Responsibilities Drive sales and profitability, ensuring financial targets are metControl labour costs, stock levels, and waste to maximise efficiencyMonitor store budgets and manage payroll costsEnsure compliance with age-restricted sales policiesImplement store promotions effectively and maintain product knowledgeStore Operations & Compliance Oversee store organisation, scheduling, and stock-taking proceduresEnsure the store complies with Health & Safety and Food Safety regulationsMaintain high standards of store presentation and merchandisingSupervise stock replenishment and ensure accurate gap managementSupport with till operations, stock rotation, and date checkingProactively manage store security and prevent theftWhat Were Looking For The ideal candidate will be a strong, commercially focused leader who thrives in a hands-on retail management role.Essential Skills & Experience Previous Retail Store Management and customer service experience (preferably in food retail)Proven experience inmanaging and coaching a teamStrongbudgeting and cost-control skillsExcellentorganisation and time management abilitiesAbility todelegate and lead a team effectivelyStrongIT skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and TeamsAfull UK driving licence(preferred)Why Join Us?
