We are recruiting an Events Manager | | Monday Friday, with the occasional weekend shift. Variable shift patterns.
* Salary: £35,000 per annum
* Contract: Full Time/ Permanent
* Monday to Friday / 45 hours / includes evenings
About the Events Manager role:
* To organise and supervise all aspects of the daily shift and ensure all service points and team are looking their best and ready for business as required.
* To liaise with other key personal, including, events and sales department to deliver service that meets and exceeds clients expectations.
* Weekly event briefings with the sales team.
* To brief the events team on all aspects of the business and to oversee the running of all events, workings lunches and dining.
* To create a rota accordingly with the weekly business.
* To meet clients on arrival making sure that the event is as they require and ensuring that any on the day changes are passed on to the relevant people where necessary.
* To train or provide training to the staff to ensure they operate in accordance with Graysons standards.
* To liaise with key people in all necessary areas (kitchen, events, reception, etc) of the business to ensure the provision of food and service is consistent and in line with menu/standards pre-agreed.
* To monitor that all staff present themselves correctly dressed for duty and are well groomed whilst on duty.
* Deputize for the manager in his/her absence.
* Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are always maintained.
* Ensure the team members know their responsibilities for the shift and support the team to achieve them.
* Pre-empt the needs of our customers and create meaningful and memorable service moments. Maintain a high-profile front of house and be aware of whats happening during service, and effectively resolve any challenges always ensuring colleague and customer satisfaction.
* To prepare and deliver daily service briefings that are informative, motivational, and inspiring.
* Provide and support a clear line of communication between all team members, both FOH and BOH.
* Keep our colleagues and the TLS colleagues, visitors, and clients safe with our safety-first mentality while they are in our care, using the safety tools available to you.
About You:
* Previous experience in a similar role is required.
* Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and inspire.
* Strong customer & client service skills.
* Strong presentation skills
* PC literate and proficient in Outlook, Word & Excel
* Strong team player.
* Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
* Passion for food and wine is a plus!
