If you like what you hear, then we'd love you to apply Please note that this is a temporary position for a 6-month period You will be accountable for: Owning and managing an end-to-end case load covering topics such as Absence disciplinaries, Capability processes, AWOL cases and sickness absence cases Ensuring proper record-keeping and documentation for all absences and returns is compliant with company policy. Providing regular progress reports to key stakeholders and produce regular case load reports as part of our wider HR dashboard. Managing multiple cases against SLA's and prioritise these based on risk. Coaching line managers in managing formal meetings and attend as note taker or lead meetings to support where required. Seeking proactive opportunities to improve line manager capability in dealing with ER issues with the freedom to create and implement interventions that are specific and relevant to various corporate business areas. Providing accurate information on policy, procedure, company T&Cs on high level cases with a sound understanding of key dates and processes within the wider HR function. Proactively keep yourself up to date with changes in employment law and best practice and make recommendations for policy/ process improvements. Supporting Training sessions for Supervisors and Managers To be successful in this role you will require the following… CIPD qualification, or working towards Experience of ER caseload management Experience managing absence cases Strong Microsoft office experience with the ability to use Excel to analyse information and Word to provide well written letters and documents Experience of coaching managers Employment Law, policy changes and the impact on the business Experience of working in a unionised environment Ability to spot risk and advise and prioritise accordingly Ability to evaluate training methods and identify needs Ability to set realistic deadlines and facilitate others adhering to them Experience of using HR information systems to access, input and compile relevant data Experience of interpreting data to provide accurate advice and recommendations across all business areas Experience of handling complex ER issues, giving consistent timely advice across all business areas Added Value approach, identifying opportunities and providing proactive solutions Experience of business improvement e.g. reviewing activities and cases to understand and share key learnings with the business Why Work Here?
