The postholder will be based in DREEAM. They will support the finalisation and implementation of the DREEAM Research Strategy and oversee and co-ordinate researchers in DREEAM undertaking homegrown research. In addition, they will lead on a major research project and collaborate with NUH Trust, local HEIs, ICS, national and international partners in developing bids for NIHR and other funding calls.

They will support the development of a competency-based research development portfolio for all healthcare professionals in DREEAM and align it to a complementary research delivery portfolio.
The postholder will oversee the co-ordination of local research activity, including journal clubs and educational sessions on research, encouraging early career researchers and signposting them to developmental opportunities. They will foster a dynamic and co-ordinated approach across the UEC/Critical Care to publishing in the healthcare literature, as well as attending and presenting at regional, national and international conferences.
