Please note, it you do not meet the essential requirements for a Band 8, you will be appointed at a Band 7 and will be appointed as a Band 8 upon completion of competencies Successful candidate must have access to a vehicle for work purposes to meet the requirements of the role Main duties of the job The thoracic advanced nurse practitioner will work within the four pillars of advanced practice. We aim to deliver a higher level of clinical expertise within the centre and tertiary services outpatient setting, cardiothoracic ward, cardiothoracic high dependency unit and in the community. We aim to provide initial assessment, make differential diagnoses and ensure appropriate investigations, interventions and treatments are initiated to minimise delay, reduce cancer waiting times, and continuously improve the service.
