Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking and experienced Area Manager to join our team. This role involves overseeing our semi-independent living provisions, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Area Manager will be instrumental in managing budgets, supervising staff, and driving positive outcomes for the children and young people in our provisions.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of our semi-independent services, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Manage and allocate budgets effectively, ensuring financial sustainability and cost-efficiency.
Lead, mentor, and support a diverse team of staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance service delivery and improve outcomes for children and young people.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Ensure all services provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people.
Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer to align operational strategies with the overall goals of the organisation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including local authorities and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications and Experience.
Proven experience in a similar role within the semi-independent (16 +) sector.
Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of successfully managing teams.
Excellent understanding of budget management and financial planning.
In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and standards within the care sector.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to promoting positive outcomes for children and young people.
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of the organisation.
Good knowledge of relevant UK regulations and safeguarding procedures.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and external agencies.
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children.
Enhanced DBS check.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Right to work in the UK
Valid UK driving license is desirable.
