Principal People are pleased to be working exclusively with a global leader in insurance, risk management and consulting services who are looking for a Health and Safety Consultant to join their Risk Management team and work with clients in the higher education sector.
The focus of this role is to provide health and safety / risk management consultancy services to the company’s established and expanding higher education client base.
As Health and Safety Consultant you will:
1. Provide health and safety advice to a portfolio of higher education clients.
2. Prepare proposals to clients on a range of services based on their needs.
3. Conduct a range of health and safety reviews and produce high quality reports containing practical suggestions for improvement.
4. Develop, update and present various in-house and open training events on a variety of health and safety and risk management topics.
5. Work with management in the development and promoting of new services and products.

The successful Health and Safety Consultant will have:
1. A recognised qualification in Health and Safety / Risk Management.
2. Experience in a customer or client-facing role.
3. Experience working in education or the public sector is preferable.
4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact and influence at high levels.
5. Good time management skills, with the ability to organise workload and prioritise tasks.
